Previous rumors that actor Laurence Fishburne would voice Galactus in the Fantastic Four sequel were partially true.  Fishburne, who is best known for his role in The Matrix trilogy, will be voicing a character in the upcoming Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, but it won't be Galactus.  Fishburne will be heard as the voice of the Silver Surfer in the film.

Actor Doug Jones who plays the Silver Surfer in the film suggested there was a possibility that his voice would not be used in the final version of the film during a recent interview.

Fishburne will begin voice work this week.  This is not the first time the actor has lent his voice for a film.  He currently can be heard as the narrator in TMNT.
